Lauren Cain is a Principal Statistician at Takeda Pharmaceuticals and a Visiting Scientist at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She received her PhD in Epidemiology and MHS in Biostatistics from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She also completed postdoctoral work in the Program on Causal Inference in the Department of Epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Her research interests include both the development and application of methods for causal inference from complex longitudinal data. Her most recent work focuses on the optimal use of treatments through the comparison of dynamic treatment strategies.
